'Greening' a school is about more than just planting trees ... It's about creating a natural environment filled with birds, bees, butterflies and bats. It's about getting disabled children involved in nature: learning to identify bird calls; watching birds build their nests, chicks hatching and learning to fly; bees pollinating flowers ... a beautiful butterfly emerging from a chrysalis spun by a caterpillar ... If you believe all children should have the chance to discover the wonders of nature, please consider making a donation online right now. Your gift will help provide bird baths and feeding tables to attract a large variety of birds into the school grounds, owl nesting boxes and bat houses. At our five 'Green' Schools for the disabled, the spadework has already been done – literally! Gardens have been planted and the children's interest sparked. Now we need help from nature-loving South Africans like you to complete the process. Please make a donation now if you can. Click here to donate online by credit card. Click here to
